Low Tide
LOW TIDE
The sea gives. The sea takes back.
You wash up on a small island. Each time the tide goes out it uncovers sandbars, outer islets and drift from a wreck. Haul logs, rope and a sail back to your raft before the water returns, and set sail before the storm surge covers the island.
HOW IT WORKS
- The tide really moves: sandbars appear at low tide and vanish at high tide.
- Build the raft from 6 logs, 2 ropes and 1 sail. You can carry 3 things at once.
- Swim and the sea takes whatever you're holding.
- Drift the tide covers again washes away. New drift arrives with every tide.
- Crabs pinch. Seagulls just watch.
- Every high tide is higher than the last, and the fourth is a storm surge.
A game takes about 4 minutes.
